Actually the Ezra of which Dana writes is the son of Uriah Edgecomb who emigrated to OH from Canton CT and is descended from CT Edgecombs. An article on the Ohio Edgecombs and their descent from the Edgecombs of CT can be found on my website at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jvoran/edgecomb/edgect/jedges.htm. Steve Baskauf who lived in Allen County OH has also written an article entitled "Edgecombs of Ohio and the West" which gives more information on this family. I hope to have his permission to scan and upload this article to add to the information.
