Born in about 1893 in California, Walter Edgecomb, is listed as head of household with wife (Marguerite), father-in-law, mother-in-law, sister and brother-in-law, on the 1920 California Census. They were living in the Long Beach area working in the Shipyards.

Most of the Edgecombs I have found were from up north in Maine and Connecticut. Surprised to find one in California who was born there before 1900!
