I have a Premission Slip for marriage from
Barren Co., Kentucky, which reads:

I do certify that I am willing for John Polk
to marry my daughter Elizabeth Edington
given under my hand this 21 day of July 1818.

Martha(X)Brook

witness:
William Gist
James Field
Jehu(X)Palk
Ida Conley
Does anyone have anything on Elizabeth and her mother Martha? What was the migration routes for the Edingtons?
I share all information freely.
