I have just listed an historic document on ebay pertaining to James Edington of Knox County, Tennessee.
It is a Power Of Attorney from James Edington to David Haley for operation of his U.S. Mail Stagecoach line between Knoxville, TN and Sparta, TN in October of 1817!

This is a very interesting document!

You can check it out by logging onto ebay and entering either "Knoxville,TN" or "Sparta,TN" in keyword area.

In checking on, I have came across a Marriage Record that states James Edington married a Sally Haley on May 23, 1811 in Roane County, TN.
I just wonder if this Sally Haley might not have been a sister to David Haley, who was receiving a POA from James Edington in 1817 in Knox County?

Any Edington Family researchers, and particularly those who trace back through a James Edington lineage in Knox County, Tennessee, should check out this ebay item while it's available.
