My interest in William Edmonds and John Williams has to do with the Charles City Co Paces.Richard Pace (b. abt 1638, father George Pace) died around 1678, and his widow Mary married Nicholas Whitmore, who was named as a headright in the 1682 patent of Edmonds and Williams.
Not much is known about Mary _______ Pace, or about her second husband Nicholas Whitmore.I'm trying to discover more about Edmonds and Williams, on the offchance that it might lead to some further information about Nicholas Whitmore or his wife.
I didn't know about Samuel Edmonds before you mentioned him, nor about John Edmonds.If I learn anything about either of them, or about Weeks, which seems as if it might be of interest, I will let you know.
