According to our family story, they were my great-great-great grandparents -- their son James Smith Jones, b. 16 Nov. 1816 in NC, was my great-great grandpa. James. S. traveled into the Midwest, married twice, and had heaps of kids. My great grandpa Thomas Drake Jones was the youngest, born in 1875. James S. Jones died in Terre Haute in 1895. Thank you!
