Jesse Lee Edney died between December 24, 1892 (the writing of his will) and April 3, 1895 (Probate of Will) in Bear Creek Farm, Dickson Co., TN. I don't know if Bear Creek was the name of "his" farm, or the name of a community.

Sorry to be so long in answering. Just came back from NC.

Martha Ann is right about the minister Jesse Lee. I have read about him in old Methodist Newspapers. I feel our Jesse Lee Edney was named for this man. He probably traveled throughout TN as well as NC and other areas. He was very well known and respected during his time.
