Thank you for the message concerning Jessie Lee. What was said in these notes confirmed the truth of what I have said about Jessie Lee Edney's namesake. According to a McClintock & Strong Encyclopedia of religious knowledge, Jessie Lee was recognized as the founder of Methodism in New England. He was born on March 12, 1758 and died about September 12, 1816. He also served as chaplain of the House of Representatives around 1811-13 and chaplain of the Senate in 1814. Thank you for the info on Jessie Lee Edney's death date.
