Hi,
I have just read your posting on Gen Forum about the Robert Edney house. You didn't mention what state you are talking about. I have many Edney's in my family. My Robert Edney (Robert Jewell Edney), emigrated to America from the Isle of Wight (England) on the ship RESOLUTION, in 1819, with his wife, Mary Isabella Pittis, their first-born child, and her parent's, 5 brothers and 5 sisters. They settled in Deersville, Ohio that same year. Later descendant's settled in other places. Does any of this ring a bell?
Doug
