This message is the only one which remotely could reference Edneys in the Caribbean. I come from the line of Edneys in St. Croix, US Virgin Islands. My grandmother, Petrina Edney Petersen had at least 4 brothers, Ludwig, Cornelius, Arthur, one more who's name I cannot remember. We are direct decendants of a marriage of an Edney/Heiliger line. We are either Edneys by blood or slave master given name Edneys. We are an extremely large family of Edney's here in St. Croix. If anyone knows of any Edneys who migrated to the Caribbean please send information. Somewhere along the lines, my father was contacted once by an Edney of Edneyville in NC or VA who claimed that there was a Caribbean connected. He never heard from that person again.
