We have asked Clara about Jesse Lee to no avail. I live near Chicago but I have requested her niece by marriage who visits her every day to please quiz her again. That log cabin is in bad shape--the vines were swallowing it, and many years ago that fake brick-looking siding had been put on which held the moisture in and caused logs to rot.
It is 1 1/2 stories with 3 rooms on the lower. As it is built into a hill, the foundation on the lowside is rock and crumbling. I do have some pictures that show parts of it and when I get my scanner reconnected I will post those. The property is on Bear Creek Road and it does have frontage but the cabin is way back in and the access was thru adjoining property which has now been fenced off.
