Hello Robert,
I believe you are refering to a Plato Edney who was a son of Creiton Edney & Lily Enloe, and was probably born about 1885. I have his wife as "Morgie" Hill, which could have been a nick name. There were 8 children from Creiton & Lily, and 4 of these boys married Hill daughter. I do not know if they were all sisters.
There is a scandel associated with Plato, as he killed his wife with a shotgun and was executed in an electric chair for the deed.
I do not have the dates associated with these people, but I can take you back quite a way with the Enloe family. Also I can put you in contact with other Enloe's who are still in North Carolina that may be able to add to the information. I have Creiton's parents as William M. Edney & Sarah Lyda.
E-mail me if you want more.
