I received this response from to a posting I placed 24 hours ago inquiring to the connection Levin Edneys wife Polly had to the Caseys mentioned in his Will:
"You have found something quite awesome in my view. I am not sure if this is something you already know, but it appears that Sarah Casey and Thomas Casey Jr. are children of Shadrach Casey and wife (nee Jones) Sarah. Sarah was born around 1844 and Thomas Jr. about 1840. Their parents were married in Davidson County,TN in around 1827. I am wondering if the Thomas about which you speak could be a nephew to your Thomas. I am also interested in how Levin Edney's wife is aunt to Sarah and Thomas. Thank you for this insightful information. Thank you."
I deleted it by mistake and do not know the name of the person who sent it.
Have a question...IF Shadrack was the father of Sarah and Thomas JR....then why was Thomas a jr? Levin Edney's Will says Thomas Casey Jr.
