Hello Judith,

I was wondering if perhaps my Edneys are related to yours. Do you know if Samuel and James had a brother or cousin named Thomas Randall Edney?

I take it from the information you provided about James that he was born abt. 1850. Thomas was born 20 Oct 1844 in Cannington, Somerset. His eldest son was named Samuel, and I thought that it might have been a name that ran in the family. I know nothing about his parents.

Thomas married Mary Ann Card and they had at least seven children:

Samuel R. (b. abt 1871)
Thomas H. (b. 1 Dec 1873)
Charles F. (b. abt 1875)
Frank E. (b. abt 1878)
Mary (b. abt 1880)
Elizabeth (b. 14 Feb 1884)
Harry (b. 26 Sep 1888)

I realize this may be a longshot, but I thought I would ask regardless. I would greatly appreciate any information that you think may be applicable.

Many thanks,
