I have a family member that was named Wilkins "Wicks" Edney b 24 April 1854 that may be the father of your Willie Edney. Don't have a lot on him except that his father was William Edney b 5 March 1822 TN, d 10 Sept 1873. He married Elizabeth Jane Kennedy 28 Dec 1845 Davidson County, NC. She was b 1822, d 25 April 1899 Humphers County, TN. I have the siblings of Wilkins and his ancestry also.
