Elizabeth Edney b. about 1738

Hello,
For lots of years I have been working on my Cartwright genealogy. Along with many others, I am convinced there is an Edney connection. By looking at dates, locations and naming patterns, I believe Robert Edney's daughter, Elizabeth, married into my Cartwright's. She was supposedly born about 1738. That would make it possible for her to be the mother of Robert N. Cartwright, born about 1765, who probably had children Reddick, Newton, William, Polly, Levin E., Rhoda, Samuel R. and Elizabeth. I have no idea where the name Reddick is from but the other names tie to the Edney and/or Cartwright families. I would love to hear from Edney researchers who might know the name of the Cartwright man Elizabeth married or have suggestions for further research.
Thank you for your attention,
Jo Ann Miller
