Dianne,
I am sure you have seen all this but I did find Sis Edney b 1868 in the 1900 census as a widow with children Lee b March 1883 and Ada b 1886. A census search for Ada was not possible for 1890 which might have given her father. Sis was listed as a Widow in the 1900 census. I did find Edward Lee Edney in the WW1 Draft Card dob listed as 6 March 1882 with wife Ada listed as next of kin to be notified. This is not my family.....just trying to help
