From what I understand I am a descendant of the honerable Reverand Samuel Edney. My great-grandfather was Zebulon Vance Edney; my grandfather Robert Grayson Edney, who married Estelle Butler. (I must be related to Rev Edney as my grandmother Estelle always wanted me to be a preacher!)I grew up in Pacolet Valley, N.C. and understand that my people migrated from the Henderson County/Edneyville area.
