Edna,-Thanks for all your info. on Thomas and Catherine. How did you get the obit. on Thomas? We live about 50 miles from Brenham if we need to go to the library. We checked the cemetery in Kurtin but did not find James Monroe, I guess we need to look again. I woud like to share more info. on Thomas, were there any siblings. My wife descends from James Monroe and his son John Henry, her name is Thelma and her father was Henry Vernon Hood.
