house built by Robert Edney

I recently bought a lot near South Mills from a distant cousin. As best I can tell the old house used to be right at the edge of this lot, near the property line and near the culdesac. It was one of three houses that my grandfather said was build by Robert Edney. I am not sure which Robert Edney built it. It might have been the original Robert Edney or it might be his grandson. The land borders on Edney Creek which is a tributary of Joy's Creek. The house had to have been built before 1825 and may have been built before 1800. It was a side hall plan house and was put together with wood pegs and hand made nails. The frame was all I ever saw and it was torn down in 1970.
Do we have any archioligest in the family to help me dig around it?
