A GA marriage license identifies a Henry Edy and Mahala A. Nicholson being married on 09Dec1855 in Spalding Co., GA. The 1860 census for Pike Co., GA identifies Henry Edy, age 32, and wife, Mahala A., age 30 with four children in the household....George W.T., M-age 12, John W., M-age 8, H. Pinkney, M-age 3, Lucinda L., F-age 9/12. Obviously, by the age of two children, it is reasonable to speculate that this was the 2nd marriage for one of parents.
Does anyone have knowledge of this Georgia family and where their descendents may be?
