Egan, William J. 89 years, WWII Veteran, 8th Air Force Bombadier. Beloved husband of 58 years to Theresa B. (nee Barlett), loving father of William (Deborah), Catherine (Bruce) Currie, Deborah (James) Ryan and the late Robert (JoAnn), proud grandfather of Robert, Jennifer (Shawn), Matt, Kevin, Carrie (Hal), Megan (Don), Elizabeth (David), Patrick, Bill, Kate (John), Colleen (Robert), Jim and Bob, great-grandfather of seven, dear brother of Ann Winchell and Patricia (Charles) Kopeika. Preceded in death by four brothers and sister, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Funeral Saturday, 8:45 a.m., from Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, to Queen of Martyrs Church. Mass 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 2 until 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's. Retired in 1979 after 43 years with Peoples Energy. Info: 708-636-1193.
