I have been able to find the records of 2 children for John Egan. Thus I can see that he came between 1844 and 1857 when my great grandmother was born. I can't see him in the Canada census of 1851 but I keep looking. I am not sure where to begin with immigration records but I will keep at it. thanks for trying to help.
