Hi Linda,

It has been a while since you posted this but I am hoping that in the last 2 yrs you've found some of what you were looking for. I just started researching your family a few months ago. I am related thru the Niewoehner side of the family. I found a book written in 1928 that documents the Niewoehner line back to 1799. It mentions the EGGERT line as well, since Frederick EGGERT's mother was Katherina Elizabeth NIEWOEHNER. Katherina was my great g'ma's oldest sister. My great g'ma was Marie Gertrudt (NIEWOEHNER) PILGRIM.
In your query you mentioned that Helen had siblings. I can't help you there because the book shows Helen being their only child (as of 1928) But it does have his wife's name as Elizabeth REIS and has them living in Canton OH. I am not sure about the spelling of her last name because I also found her listed on another site as Elizabeth C. WIES and I have found a few errors in the book so far, so I am not taking it as gospel. I have their date of marriage as 25 May 1898 in Richmond IN. And last week I believe I found the name of the ship ("America") and the date (16 Oct 1890) that Fred and some of his siblings came to America on.
I would love to share information with you if you would be interested. I look forward to hearing from you.
Karla
