Bygod's ancestry

Has anyone got a really well thought out and researched genealogy for Bygod yet? James Eggleston m. Margaret Harker daughter of Miles? Are the Radcliffes or Bigods involved here at all? I realize a poor farmer can't marry a Lady, but I also realize that these weren't poor farmers that came over on ships. These were the entrepreneurial men of this time. Some were escaping religious persecution while hopefully fattening their purses w/ coin from the new land. Many of these men were the victims of the English system of inheritance. From what I understand, the French split their wealth and titles fairly evenly between children while the English usually gave the lions share to the first son. This would leave alot of hungry and disappointed other children eager to secure lands in America. This also would explain the shift from 3-5 children in England to 6-17 in the new world. These men were building family empires. I'm not trying to pontificate, but I see alot of people who don't understand the huge differences between the early immigrants here and the later.
James
