Seeking anyone related to, or having information on the descendants of Orilla EGGLESTON and Joseph W. GIBSON, amrried Osceola, Clarke Co. IA, homesteaded along the Moreau River on the old Bismark Trail in now Perkins Co., South Dakota.
Their son John ("Jack") GIBSON had five sons named William, Harold, George, John and Robert GIBSON - all named in the obituary provided below of John ("Jack") GIBSON. The 1920 Soundex for Long Beach CA shows Harold GIBSON, age 10, living alone with his father Jack in Long Beach CA (indicating widower Jack married again sometime between 1910 and probably 1920 to 1925).1920 Soundex also shows his other son William J. GIBSON, age 18, numerated with Electrical School 205, Naval Training Station, are Island, Vallejo, Solano Co., CA in 1920.William, Harold and the other three children may have since lived, or are living, anywhere U.S.A.John ("Jack") GIBSON and the above named children are the descendants of my Great Aunt Orilla (EGGLESTON) GIBSON and Joseph W. GIBSON who married in Osceola, Clarke Co., Iowa and homesteaded on the Moreau River in Perkins Co., South Dakota along the old Bismark Trail.:I have much family history and genealogy, including 7 Mayflower lines, to freely share with my family somewhere out there if I could only find them.

"Jack Gibson, Motorman 30 Yrs., Dies
Jack Gibson, 78, of 813 Washington Pl., for 30 years a motorman on the Pacific Electric passenger run between Long Beach and Los Angeles, died Tuesday.Gibson , a resident of Long Beach 40 years, retired in 1949.He was a member of Long Beach Lodge 327, F&AM, and Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
Surviving are his wife, Mary K., and sons, William J. Harold, George, John and Robert.
Masonic funeral service will be at 3 p. m. Thursday in Dilday Mortuary
chapel."
