Thank you Randall for all the information on the Burns and Aliff family. I really appreciate it!!I've been doing family research now for 3 years, but have not had luck with the Eggleston family. Mary Eggleston and Benjamin Vanfosson are my great-great-grandparents. Their daughter, Myrtle Vanfosson was my great-grandmother. You would think the family knows something about Mary, but they don't. The family called her Mollie, so they said her name was Mary "Mollie" Eagleson. All of our family told me her last name was Eagleson, which I knew was wrong. It had to be Eggleston. She is buried in Maple Hill Cemetery in College Springs, Iowa with her husband, Benjamin. Her tombstone says Born December 15, 1865 and died July 18, 1949, but you never know on the birth date. They said she had rheumatism really bad in later life and had to live the last several years in a hospital because she was crippled by it. Other than that the family doesn't know anything about the Egglestons. So I will keep researching. I will let you know if I find anything else out. Now that I have more names to associate with their family, this might help me out.
