I would suppose they were German Lutheran. Elisabetha appeared as sponsor to a baptism at Rader's Lutheran church in Rockingham Co., VA. Burial for one or both of them is at Rocky Hill Lutheran Cem., Rocky Hill (near Woodsboro) MD.
Johannes Flinner's dau., Margaretha, age 15 was confirmed in the presence of the congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran ch at Trappe, New Providence Twp., Montgomery Co., PA
