My family lives in the North East of England. I can only trace back to around the turn of the century, when my great, great grandfather was called George Elliott. As far as I can understand, around that time many Scottish famillies moved to the North East to gain employment in the Shipyards. I will keep trying to find any information on his ancestry and will send you all I can. I hope this helps you in your search.
