Sorry I've been away.
I've had other things to do and think about.
I found out something about my Eisenzopf line
that I didn't know years ago.
It seems that my maternal Great Grsnd Father
who was a member of the Italian Royal Court
or something like that
happened to be in Triest (sp)
when Italy lost a small border war with Austria-Hungary.
As a result he was forced to change his name
from his unknown Italian name was to Eisenzopf.
Why he didn't chamge it back
when he returned to Italy, I don't know.
It's possible his name might have been Arno
But I've no way of knowing for sure after all this time.
