I am desperate to learn more about the Eison's. My mother was an Eison from Livingston County. Her father was C. R., Sr., her grandfather was J. O., Sr., and his father was John, who was married to Euphamie Lewis, and they lived in both Livingston County, and in Pope County, Illinois. Who was this John's father. This John was born about 1820. There are too many John's, Jacob's, etc., and I can't sort them. Has anyone got an answer?
