I own a copy of the book below-- index has on page 165: "William LOGUE" m.
Catherine Buchanan ELDER ....
"There is speculation that Mary, mother of William LOGUE, may have been a sister of Catherine (BUCHANAN) ELDER..." but no documentation has been found to that effect."

James Elder was born 17 March 1769, probably in [Franklin co] Pennsylvania. 
He married Catherine Buchanan (1769-1813) 15 March 1790. 
They had eleven children.
He married Sally Hagan 13 February 1816.

They had seven children.
James died 15 February 1837 in Perryville, Pennsylvania. 
Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon. 
Includes index.
