Following up on my posting I am now clear that Frederick Elgey Clifford ELGEY son William & Elizabeth
Burton Pidsey Feb 28 1851. is the same Frederick in Hull in 1881 and 1901 in the flour business.

It also seems certain that his father was the William , mother Elizabeth, of Burstwick - the parishes are adjoining.

The IGI list him with the strange first names and I wonder if this is correct.

His brother will be John Thomas ELGEY who married by relative Betsy ANDREW
