Father was William Ellis Sr. Ogelthorp Co. Ga. William (paul) and wife burried on Ellis Rd. Griffin Ga. William sr. and wife burried Between Maxie and Stephens Ga. on old home place Ogelthorp Co. Ga. Familey came to Ga. as a refugee fleeing the British from Davison Co. N.C. (across river from Rowan Co. ) father of William Sr was John Ellis one of the early settlers of N.C. he was from Prince George Co. Va. Some time called John Ellis Indian Trader
We have wills , land records , marriage info and much mor to share on this line.
There is a reunion each year in griffin for this line if interested contact
