Thank you for your post.
Walter Ernest Catron and Mary Mollie Steel(e) Ellison (?) were married May 28, 1906,From Hamilton County Marriages 1900 to 1919: http://www.grundycountyhistory.org/05_Res/Marriage/1900_1919.pdfhttp://www.grundycountyhistory.org/05_Res/Marriage/1900_1919.pdf.Walter's father was a Methodist minister in Chattanooga, Hamilton County, TN, at the time. There was more than one Walter Catron during that time also.Walter's brother, Henry John Catron who lived in Chattanooga named his son Walter Ernest Catron. Also there was a Walter H. Catron living in the Southeast.
Mary "Mollie" Steel has conflicting birth date data.Although the 1920 Marion County Census shows her as age 42 (born about 1877), her death certificate (Tennessee Deaths and Burials: http://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=fstennesseedeath&h=184989&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pthttp://search.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=fstennesseedeath&h=184989&ti=0&indiv=try&gss=pt) shows her as being born about 1869, around age 54 at death on October 7, 1923.I guess it's not unusual for women's ages to have been reported wrong on the census due to suppositions or inconveniences. I think the Kentucky Birth Records showing a Margret Mary born June 27, 1875 might be her.The 1875 birth year makes more sense given that her daughter Emma (Ellison) Sheppard was born in 1894.
Mary Catron's obituary shows she has a son named W. A. Ellison.Ruth and Clyde Sheppard, children of Emma Ellison Sheppard, also searching for their descendants.Emma's husband might have died while serving in WWI.There is a Clyde M. Sheppard, a wagoner, died of disease in WWI, just don't know why he was listed in the North Carolina division.
