A book I have on the Shirley family has a couple of pages on this family:

"Theodore (Teeter) Elrod, an early German immigrant to Pennsylvania, had at least four children - Christopher, Sr. 1721-1785; Jeremiah; John Teeter, and Richard."

Christopher was born in Lancaster Co., PA, died 1785, Rowan Co., NC. Married 1743 Monocacy, MD. They were in Rowan b the mid 1750s, possibly with the German Moravian settlements there. He had at least 10 children - Adam, Sarah, Catherine, Margaret, Mary, Christopher, Jr., Robert, John, Aaltje; and Lydia.

There is further information on these people.
