Anderson County, SC.....Thomas Elrod (1777-1845) and John W Elrod (1805-1871) had children who married each other. Kessiah Elrod, dau of John W Elrod, married Albert (Byrd) Elrod, son of Thomas; Malinda, dau of John W. Elrod, married David Oliver Sloan Elrod, son of Thomas Elrod; Frances Elrod, dau of John W Elrod, married Arron Ezekiel Elrod, son of Thomas Elrod. Were Thomas and John W related to each other? John W's father was William J. Elrod (1773-1861). Were they related? Any info would be appreciated.
