Hi James!
Was curious so just checked out your history.Seemsodd you've only submitted only one query in all these years and have no other open history of participation.Your privilege, of course, but seems like a trick question under such circumstances... It's ok, why not?
Be that as it may, I wish to respond: Am sure we're all as familiar with the name ELSTON HOWARD as we are with that of mentioned "DON ELSTON". Both certainly fit into the catagory of "celebrity" and "famous sports stars" and, proudly, both are ELSTONs.
The gentleman who kindly responded before me is equipped to help you search DON ELSTON's lineage;while I'd consider it a privilege to "help you search for" ELSTON HOWARD's.Have come to believe some of his roots stem from the valley in which I reside; which was once considered "The Frontier".I think I know where to begin...
As a twelfth generation American, I'm surprised by nothing and enormously proud of many things.Particularly the diversity which exists within our great nation and, particularly (as I'm just beginning to dicover), within our great family - The ELSTONs.
I take it for granted the HOWARDs feel the same way.
Please feel free to email me. Would be delighted to "help you search" for ELSTON HOWARD.
Warmest regards from the Delaware/Hudson Valley.
Sherrill
