I have an ancestor, David Emanuel, b abt. 1715-d 1769 GA, who was said to have come from Wales. I have looked at LDS church records and found dozens of Emanuels in Glamorgan, Carmathen and Monmouth in the 1700's - 1800's. None seems to fit my David E so am at a loss on how to proceed, Maybe hire a professional to research in Wales. Would be happy to share if anything I have would be of interest.
