I think Chad may be mistaken about which David was his ancestor. There were TWO Davids. The one he mentions is probably the son of John Levy Emanuel (also Levy John Emanuel). This David went to Decatur Co., GA, for a while, moved to Leon Co., FL, then back close to Levi John, then to Texas. There was another David of the same period who lived in Decatur Co., then moved to Jackson Co., FL. His brother was my g-g-g grandfather Caswell Emanual who also moved to Jackson Co., FL. THIS David and Caswell were possibly the half brothers of Hilliard. Chad, if you have Bible records would you please contact me? What was Rebecca's maiden name? I have been researching this family for years

and know of other people doing the same.
