George W. Eamigh was my g-g-grandfather. Uriah Eamigh was one of his brothers.

I cannot verify any of this information. I can only give you the information a now deceased relative graciously gave to me. She spent many, many, many years researching her family history before it was a popular thing to do. Her name was Vera Hester Lauffer a decendant of Abraham Plummer, Sr. listed on this Family Tree Maker web site. She died in 1994 at the age of 85. I must give her all the credit for the information I now possess. The following is the information she sent to me.

Jorg Von Emig migrated from Germany to America with his wife Marie Dreyse Emig and anglicized his name to George V. Eamigh. He settled in the Conemaugh Valley in Pennsylvania in the Summerhill, Croyle Township area, Cambria County.

Jorg was born in Germany in 1764 and died in Pennsylvania in 1850 at age 86. Marie Dreyse was born in Germany in 1765 and died in Pennsylvania in 1825 at age 60. They were the parents of two sons: George V. Jr. and Solomon Eamigh

George V. Eamigh and his wife Susan had eight children: George W., Amanda, John, Solomon, Uriah, Elizabeth, Margaret and Ruth Ann.

Vera did give me information about the marriages and children of George V. Eamigh's children. If you would like more information, let me know.
