I was just reading through all your postings.. I don't have much to add but want to know what you had on John Emigh?

I have a John Emigh born around 1829, married to Mary Ann Plummer in Cambria in 1850 and died in March 1881 in Blair County. He was also in the civil war.

I'm trying to track down some information about him but can't seem to locate this parents..

Do any of you have a connection with him? He and Maryann supposedly had 9 children, one of which was my great-grandfather Abraham. I am also working with another researcher for the Plummer side.

Any help would be appreciated.
