Peter Emigh was born Mar. 20 and bp. May 31, 1741 at Peter Lossing's, sponsors were Peter Lossing and Cornelia per records of the Lutheran Churches of New York City.
Volume 6, No. 2, 1989 Saratoga Quarterly, under Marriages and Death Notices, Saratoga County Newspapers, (Independent American):
EMIGH,PETER, d. 3.18 (3.22.1815), 74y, Milton, brth of
Nicholas.
EMIGH, CHARITY, d. 3.18 (3.22.1815), 70y, Milton, w of
PETER.
It is believed that the spelling of this family name was changed to EIGHMY, and some possibly EIGHMEY.
