DNA testing

Hi,

Tradition among my branch of the AMY family, descended from Joseph AMY who was born in 1796 in Pennsylvania, is that the name was originally spelled EMIGH or AMIGH. Are there any direct line male EMIGH descendants that would be interested in DNA testing? If so, either respond here or contact me privately.

If there is enough interest, I will see if I can organize an AMY/AMIGH/EMIGH, etc. DNA surname project which would bring down the cost of testing. I would be glad to be coordinator of the project.

Rick Saunders
