I have just recently attended an Emslie family reunion which was held in Grahamstown on the 15 - 17 December 2000 in the 1820 Settlers Monument in Grahamstown and which was also the launching of the official Emslie Book/Family register which has been published by Mrs GLoria Emslie of address P.O. Box 195, Kenton-On-Sea, 6191,
Phone/Fax 046 6481843
The book is the official register of Robert Emslie the 1820 settlet and all his descendents and history of the Emslie family including information on the Gordon clan, tartan, music. coat of arms etc.
A wonderful weekend was enjoyed by all.
She can be contacted to order copies of the book.
