Hello Rick Enfield and Brenda Allyn,

My name is Eric Emfield. I also share the same family lines you both do and established the Emfield Historical Society in 1989 to help other family researchers and relatives on these lines coordinate their efforts. We have a web site at:
Temporary user name: browsing
Temporary password: emfield

Drop in and check it out. There are tons of pictures, histories, pedigrees, etc... We have over 60 members (no fees, we just share data), we encourage you to check it out. All we ask is that you share your lines too so we can fill in the blanks in the family tree.

The Joseph INFELD that arrived in 1652 at the Port of Philadelphia, PA from Wurttemburg, Germany appears to be the first arrival of many of the EMFIELD, EMPFIELD, INFIELD, INFELD, IMFELDT (true Germanic spelling), etc...

Let us know what you think and what we can do to help. We also have a semi-annual newsletter that gives new finds, histories, etc... that can also be found on our web site.

Eric & Jennifer Emfield
