Interesting, glad to hear from a relative. I have not found a lot of new information, but I can share what I do know.

The Behrs family is listed in the 1880 Lake Co. (Chicago) Iliinois census. In consisted of:
John Behrs b: 1834 Germany
Elizabeth b: 1836 Germany
Joseph b: 1862 Illinois
Lizzie b: 1863 Illinois
Lena b: 1868 Illinois
Charles b: 1878 Illinois

Dominick Engelman is listed as a Boarder.
(The names are a good match for the ones you listed)

I did find some marriage licenses you might find interesting.

The first one lists the marriage of Miss Clara L. Beers to Albert E. Hall on Aug. 3, 1882 in Chicago.

The second lists the marriage of Mrs. Lizzie Hall to Peter Englemann on May 7, 1892 in Cook County.

If would appear that Lizzie was widowed before she married Peter.

The Luxroots database listed Unbanus Engelman as being born to Peter Engelman(age 29) and Catharina Keipes (age not listed) on October 15, 1832. I wish I still had access to this database, because I remember there being 3 listing for Urbans in this general time period (within 5-10 years) it is possible I have the wrong one.

I will keep you posted as I find anything else.
