My gggrandmother was Mary Ann Engleman. She was married 1st to a John Marvel and had two children by him. He died and she then married William Carter Shannon. Mary Ann's parents were Jacob Engleman and Mary (?). She was the 3rd child born to them the others were, Samuel William b. 1 Dec 1836 in KY, John H.b. 6 Mar 1838 in KY, James T. b. 22 May 1842 in MO, Simeon H.b. 12 Sept. 1844 in MO, and Robert B. b. 24 Oct 1846 in MO. Mary Ann was born 23 May 1840 in KY.
