You may have given me a clue on a subject that has been a source of confusion to me for some time.
There is a document, "Enoch Family Research," compiled by Harry D. Roberts (ca. 1970), filed in the NY Public Library, which gives two conflicting genealogies of the family of Henry Enoch of VA/PA.In one, his son ISAAC (b 24 Jan 1774), married Amy Tracy on 2/4/1800.Their children are listed as William, Abraham, Druzilla, Nancy, Amy, Evaline, Lovena and Isaac.
In the other, Isaac Enoch Sr. (b 1752) marries Amy Tracy (year not given) and their children are Isaac, Jr., Abraham, Drusilla, Nancy, Amy, Evaline, Lavina and William.
Tracing back from the other direction, I found the death record of my GGGF, David Enoch (1801?-1880).It reads, David Enoch, November 10, 1880, Cause Unknown; Age 77y9mo.Parents Isaac and Ann Enoch of Wood Co.Information by Sarah Enoch, his wife.
There are two Isaacs listed in the 1810 and 1820 censuses for Wood County, WV.I do not know which of these is my GGGGF, and it comes as a complete surprise to me that you know of an Isaac Enoch who was married to an Ann before Amy.If it is the same person, he may have had two families (as did David), and two of the children of the first family might be Theodore and David.Do you have any other information on this?
