John Enochs VA, PA, late 18th cent.

I am looking for information on a John Enochs who lived in Virginia about 1782 and then toward the end of the 18th century appears on a census in Washington County, PA. He was married to a Katherine (Katrina, Katie) Foulk who, after John's death married a Charles Boyles. John Enochs and Katie Foulks had two children whose names I know: Mary Ann Enochs (my ancestor), and Joseph Enochs (also called Eneix). One of the sources I have reports that John had a brother named Enoch Enochs.

I have found some info on this forum which suggests that John might be the son of Henry Enochs and Elizabeth Ross. I will appreciate any communication that might be able to clarify, and I am willing to share.

David Moore
